The 2025 Canadian Junior Road Championships took us back to the rolling roads of Saint Georges de Beauce, Quebec—the same venue as 2024—and once again, the course and conditions did not disappoint.
Our team stayed in the nearby ski town of Lac Etchemin, a familiar home base with its grocery stores, bike shops, and training routes. The weather was nearly identical to last year: scorching heat in the high 30s to low 40s, heavy humidity, and torrential rain. It felt like a replay of 2024!The team settled in quickly, logging some great training days, reconthe TT and road courses, and getting ready to race.
The opening event was a massive 28 km time trial.Unlike 2024, riders were on road bikes instead of TT bikes, creating a new challenge across the familiar course.
The sun was shining, and PNW came away with a National Champion—Monty delivered a stellar ride to take the win!
