PNW Racing Recap: Canadian JuniorTrack Nationals 2026 – Edmonton Velodrome

What a weekend at the Canadian Junior Track Nationals 🇨🇦🔥

Hosted right here in Edmonton at the brand-new Alberta Velodrome, it was an incredible few days of racing, and our PNW riders delivered in a big way.

Racing Nationals Close to Home

For years, Canadian Track Nationals have traditionally been held in Milton, Ontario or Bromont, Quebec. While those venues are world-class, they require significant travel for Western Canadian athletes and teams.

This year was different.

HavingNationals in Edmonton was a huge moment—not just for our team, but for cycling in Western Canada. Competing at this level, close to home, allowed more athletes, families, and supporters to be part of the experience. It also highlighted the growth of track cycling in the West and the importance of continued investment in facilities like the Alberta Velodrome.

ForPNW Racing, it was a special opportunity to represent as a Western Canadian team on a national stage—right in our backyard.

Building for the Future

A huge shoutout to Cor, who only started track cycling this past fall.

Stepping onto the national stage so early in his track journey is no small feat. This weekend was all about gaining experience, learning, and building a foundation for what’s ahead, and he did exactly that.
